Terms of Service

Last updated: September 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Growline website and any related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Overview

Growline ("we," "us," "our") is a web design and development agency based in California, United States. The Service lets you request project quotes, view your project dashboard, and contact us about your project. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Growline.

2. Account Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • One person or entity may not create multiple accounts to circumvent these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent project information.
  • Attempt to access another user's account, dashboard, or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its security features.
  • Use the Service to send spam, harass others, or distribute malware.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from the Service beyond your own project information.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination without notice.

4. Project Requests & Quotes

Submitting a project request or inquiry does not create a binding contract. Any quote or estimate we provide is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A project begins only when both parties sign a separate project agreement or you otherwise confirm in writing. We do not process payments on this site; any invoicing or payment terms are handled separately under that project agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of any content, materials, logos, or brand assets you provide to us for use in your project. You confirm you have the right to share that content with us and grant us a limited license to use it solely to complete your project.

Deliverables: Once a project is fully paid under your separate project agreement, ownership of the final, completed design deliverables (such as the finished website design, branding assets, and source files specified in that agreement) transfers to you, to the extent we are able to transfer them.

Our tools & methods: We retain ownership of our underlying tools, frameworks, templates, code libraries, and proprietary processes used to create your deliverables. These remain our intellectual property and are licensed to you, not sold, except where a third-party license (such as an open-source license) applies.

Portfolio use: Unless you opt out in writing, we may display completed work and your company name in our portfolio and marketing materials.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Growline and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we are not liable for any loss of data, business, or profits resulting from your use of it.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, if your account is inactive for an extended period, or if we discontinue part of the Service. Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — remain in effect.

8. Govering Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of- law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
